It is kinda like Brothers, but I don’t think you can control the Guardian, only command it, but it won’t easy early in the game. The hype is from the fans that wanted this game back in 2009(?) when it was supposed to be for the PS3.

You would have to have played Ico or Shadow of the colossus to really understand. The same developers have been working on this and their vision,storytelling is second too non. For me no other games can captivate like theirs.

So its essentially the same as Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons? Trying to establish an emotional connection? That’s great and all but I still can’t understand why all the hype.

Your avatar is a picture of your dog, correct? Your dog is your friend and also your guardian as you are to him/her. Just imagine you going on adventure with your dog but at the size of that guardian.

I wasn’t a fan nor that excited about this game, but after the demo, I got why people want this game. I felt the connection between the boy and that guardian.

As a non-Sony person I look at the game and see the following…
1. It appears to be a puzzle platformer type game. These types of games are generally short, have little to no replayability,and tend to focus on a younger audience.
2. Its a current and past gen game. Many have been saying that developers need to move on and embrace the current gen and leave the past gen consoles so that they can develop with current hardware in mind a.k.a. taking advantage of the hardware.

To me, Sony people should be much more excited about that Horizon game that was shown at E3. So if someone can help me understand I would appreciate it.
