The official embargo for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lifts tomorrow- but as we’ve reported before, the game is already getting some reviews in print media. We’ve already reported on it getting a rare 10/10 from EDGE, as well as the second highest review score ever from GamePro Germany.
Now, Japanese magazine Famitsu joins the brigade with a perfect score of its own- the game has received a rare 40/40 from Famitsu, making this the third Zelda game to receive the honor. Previous Zelda games include Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker, while previous recipients outside of the Zelda series include Metal Gear Solid 4 and 5, Grand Theft Auto 5, and The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim.
The full embargo for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lifts early tomorrow morning, and by then, we’ll have a final critical consensus on the game. Stay tuned to GamingBolt for our own review of the game.
