The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild had, like all other Zelda games, a really great soundtrack. It was extremely minimalistic, and entirely unlike any other OST in the series, but it managed to establish and elevate the experience of the game to new heights.
Now, it is getting an official release. Nintendo has announced that the official Breath of the Wild OST, consisting of a staggering 5 CDs and 211 tracks, will be launching in Japan on April 25, for a price of ¥5,000 (¥7,000 for the special edition). The best part about this? It covers music from the base game, the expansions, and also the famed Zelda story trailer from last year, which had an incredibly great musical score that was not present in the game, and has so far not been available anywhere else.
¥5,000 isn’t that expensive either, so I’ll definitely be springing on this. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available now exclusively on the Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
