A horse is essential to a Zelda title since it allows moving around the world quickly. Though you’ll unlock the ability to summon a horse in The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom, how do you get one immediately?
How to Get a Horse
After Hyrule opens up, go to Hyrule Ranch. You can’t borrow any horses since one has run away, so pick up the quest, “Runaway Horse” and go West of the ranch. Eventually, you’ll spot the wayward horse stranded in the middle of a lake. Stack some beds to get across and use Bind to bring it back.
And voila – you can freely take the ranch’s horses and explore around. The downside is having to return to the ranch whenever you need one. To summon one at any time (that too, Zelda’s horse), you must complete the “Still Missing” quest and then pick up the Impa’s Gift quest at Hyrule Castle.
