The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – Leaked TV Spot Shows off New Gameplay Footage

An unaired TV spot of the open world sequel has emerged online, offering glimpses of new, previously unseen gameplay footage.

As one of the biggest upcoming games of 2023, there was obviously no shortage of excitement surrounding the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom as it is, but the last couple of weeks have seen a sudden explosion in hype. Last month, Nintendo showed off over 10 minutes of gameplay from the open world sequel, while much more recently, its final pre-launch trailer was also unveiled. Now, some more snippets of new footage have emerged.

An unaired TV spot for the game seems to have leaked online and has been shared on Reddit, and it shows a few previously unseen glimpses of gameplay from the title.

A Flame Gleeok is shown as an enemy fighting Link in the open world, suggesting that there might be several variations of the three-headed dragon to fight in the game, while Link is also shown in an underground location, where he shoots an arrow at bioluminescent flora to light up the dark cavern. Meanwhile, the spot also offers brief new glimpses of previously revealed abilities being used, like Fuse and Ascend. Check it out in full through the link above.
