The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Retains Top Spot in Weekly UK Retail Charts

Meanwhile, FIFA 23 has climbed up to second place from No. 6 last week, while Final Fantasy 16 has dropped down to No. 4.

Since it launched a couple of months ago, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom has spent most weeks on top of the weekly charts for physical software sales in the UK, and last week, it reclaimed that spot from Final Fantasy 16. This week, the Nintendo Switch exclusive has retained its position on top of the charts, in spite of 20% drop in sales, as per data provided by the Gfk (via GamesIndustry).

Final Fantasy 16, meanwhile, has dropped down a couple of places, now sitting at No. 4, while FIFA 23 has climbed up to second place after a 30% increase in sales from the previous week, thanks to retail promotions. Outside of the top 10, Metroid Prime Remastered and WWE 2K23 have also enjoyed 222% and 183% boosts in sales respectively, also thanks to retail promotions.

There are no new releases in the top 10 this week, with the only new title, The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Reverie, debuting at No. 22. In the top 10, the likes of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Hogwarts Legacy, God of War Ragnarok, and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor are still continuing to sell well.
