that’s the biggest problem with the game. It was simply too ambitious for its time and had Nintendo waited 10+ years or so to release it now like it were brand new, it would have been a better game with today’s technology. Pacing was definitely an issue; don’t get me started on how empty the overworld was. The least they could have done with this remake though is actually make it “HD” instead of an up ressed straight port. only thing improved is lighting and little texture bump ups to look cleaner, otherwise the only reason I’d think of playing is for better controls.
