yeah you're probably right, but a small improvement is better than none in this case. yes, I know what you were talking about and I know what Adrian was getting at. I was just stating my stance on it since you brought it up, but I get what he was saying.

Great, they are fixing something that never should have been an issue (lightbar), but I have bad news for you if you think the battery will get much better than the 5-6 it has now. Might be able to push 7hr, but PWM LEDs with a light pipe really don't draw that much.

My point still stands. In no way was the X1 controller made worse than the 360. People can have prefences all they like, that is not what Dear Adrain was getting at. Fanboy make.believe.

they're working on an update that will dim the PS4's lightbar to save more battery, just so you know. The only complaint I have about the XBO controller is that the analog sticks are smaller, and that doesn't bode well for my big hands regardless of how accurate the sticks are now. I hope for Xbox One's successor, they make the sticks big again like on 360.

"PS4 controller got much better, and XBO controller got a bit worse"

The PS4 controller did get better in ergos but HORRIBLE in battery life, a giant blue light you can't turn off, a "share" button that most of the time does not work as expected, and a trackpad I have not seen a single non-gimmick use for....

On the Xbox One, it has better ergos than the already loved 360, a greatly improved digital pad, far better wireless latency than anything else out there from any gen, a RIDICULOUSLY long battery life (literally weeks), and very accurate grippy analog sticks with a very tiny deadband...

Yea.... The xbox controller got worse all right. O.o Adrian Chmielarz, the reluctant fanboy.
