The human eye doesn’t see in frames. We rather see in motion. This is why we actually can see the difference between 60 fps vs the half of that which is 30 fps. Saying people can’t see the difference is nothing but denial or just not understanding the mechanics behind it.

Gaps vs. Action Speed, you are comparing apples to oranges.
60fps would cover without gaps any action speed we want portrayed. While 30fps covers the normal. Multiple icon tracking not withstanding as they slow down fps.
