Truth is it’s still up to devs to patch the games on both PS4-pro and Xbone X. I don’t believe that MS paid anyone to patch games for the consoles. Also I don’t believe Sony paid out either.

What I do agree with is now more than one 4k console is on the market more games will follow with patches and support although quite a few games on PS4-Pro have the support nowadays.

yeah itll look decent. if its all PBR should be relatively easy, if its not or bits are and arent itll be quite hard.

wonder how many people will go back and play it. find it funny how MS obviously took the initiative and got devs/paid them to do it and make sure tons of games have it at launch whilst sony didnt even bother, seems like they just assumed devs would do it.

I played it in 4k on PC, but PS4-Pro should look really good *if* HDR could be patched even when running at 1800p / 1440p / 1080p

i doubt cdpr are going to add in HDR to the console versions. it would take alot of work.

At least they are getting patches to improve the game which is a good thing ( anything coming to PC like HDR10 Patch? ). As for your comment on PS4-Pro not hitting 4K what’s the deal with that?

Not everyone owns a 4K monitor or TV yet so lets be honest most people will still play in 1080p or 1440p unless owning a 4K set anyway lol.

And most games on PS4-Pro still look awesome when not running native 4K like Horizon Zero Dawn

guess you playstatio guys can thank MS for your pro patch seeing as they wouldnt of bothered otherwise. its not going take alot of time anyway just assign a couple engineers and good to go
