The problem is he’s venting his anger at the wrong people. He should be more upset with himself that he didn’t either read the fine print of his contract and/or broker a better deal with his publishers!

It’s because of him that CDPR had lots of great material, well developed characters, lore etc to work with. Jealousy has nothing to do with it. He’s just annoyed because most noobs out there think the games came before the books.

I am pretty certain that with the success of ‘The Witcher’ series, his books probably has gotten more attention. Yet, he is, like you say, more jealous of their success. It is understandable, but in fairness they were allowed to do so in a legal manner. Imo they enhanced a good series of novels into a 3D universe. Kreds to CDPR.
