I love steam, I’ve spent way too much money valve’s wonderful service.

However, you need to realize that Valve isn’t giving us amazing sales because they’re altruistic, they do it because it makes them money. It is, of course, a case where everyone wins.

I agree, I had Half Life 2 and garry’s mod 4 years ago, but since lost my key and discs. Last month I decided that I wanted to play with garry’s mod so I decided to buy it and HL 2 again. Much to my surprise, Steam still had my account, which had been inactive for 4 years, and I was able to download it all again for free! I love those guys! Now if only microsoft wouldn’t charge for their free Left 4 Dead DLCs…

So you’re Telling me u don’t want a Program that keeps track of all the games digitally. Lets you communicate with anyone on your Friends list on ANY game *Steam Overlay FTW*. Keeps track of all your Product keys Also Updates all games automatically. HOW is it that u think this sucks PLZ fill me in .

WRONG! I tried giving them money once, they would not take it, could not tell me why and could not fix the problem.

Valve may make good games but Steam SUCKS!
