As is the norm with so many games this generation, Bloodborne, too, will have a day one patch. And while this is sad and all, at the very least we should know what exactly the patch will be bringing wit`h it that was not already present on the disc.
It appears it is a fairly standard patch- it activates the online functionality for the game, and adds some stability and bug fixes. Rather routine and nothing too dramatic (activating online on launch day makes economic sense, of course- you don’t want to pay for server maintenance when there is no one using any of it).
The exact patch list is:
Version 1.01
– Add online functionality
– Game performance and stability improvements
– Bug fixes
So, I guess, that’s that. It’s nothing too extraordinary, and certainly a far cry from the 20GB day one patch that The Master Chief Collection entailed, for example.
Stay tuned for more Bloodborne coverage.
