Just because some governmently funded paleos have discredited the idea, it does not make it factual. To the government, truth and civilians DO NOT belong together. However, their have been finds to suggest that man and dinos did indeed meet (but not publicized, of course.) Either way, all systems lack a true survival, tribal, story driven, man vs dino game that echoes the movies of 60's, 70's and 80's. The original XBOX's B.C., was that flagship. Sadly, FABLE, took preference to what could have been a milestone with sequels, dlc, and offerings on current gen systems.
On a sidenote, i've always felt the 77' film "Planet of Dinosaurs" would be a great game inspiration. You are captain of a downed spaceship, on a prehistoric planet, and your job is to keep your crew alive, hunt, fish, farm, and build. Eventually creating a small colonization on the planet. Cut scenes with relationships, leadership decisions, etc. Will you and your crew make it? Or become a dino-snack? Your crew has certain special skills like engineering, doctor, etc. If they get eaten, then things get way harder to survive. Upgraded skills are eventually learned through trial and error. Day and night cycles (the carnivores like to hunt at night!), weather, child-rearing (ala Sims) and protection, weapon and armor creation, cooking, medicine making, the works! With an ever changing ecosystem and new challenges, maybe even rival sub-human tribes and full character creation and customization. That would be MY GOTY! The replayability would be legendary.

Ikr. They really understand what matters most.

Personally, I'd nearly cüm at having a tamed raptor companion. Don't care how dumb it sounds.
