THQ legal documents reveal four new unannounced games

Darksiders devs also working on something new.

THQ announced yesterday that it’s filing for bankruptcy and entering a deal with new owners Clearlake, and in their legal documents, they revealed several games that they currently have in development.

Other than a few that we already know about- like Crytek-developed Homefront 2- there are four specific completely new, unannounced titles that have been mentioned in the legal documents filed by THQ.

One of them, the most notable probably, is “Crawler”, developed by Darksiders developers Vigil Games. It’s a working title, of course, so we don’t know if it’s a tentative codename for Darksiders 3 or an entirely new IP. Either would be good, but THQ did say that they’d release Darksiders 3 is 2 performed well commercially.

Then there’s “Atlas”, being developed by Relic Entertainment, developers of Warhammer 40k and Company of Heroes. Just like “Crawler” and the other two games (getting to them in a bit), there’s not much info given on Atlas other than the fact that it will release in 2014.

Then there’re the two other games, both of which have been trademarked by THQ but are still tentative titles. They’re titled “Evolve”- developed by Turtle Rock Studios- and “1666”- developed by  Patrice Desilets at THQ Montreal.

What’s also interesting is that a graph in the documents mentions Saints Row 4. We all know it’s coming anyway, but it’s nice to see an official unofficial confirmation. That wasn’t a typing error.

Interested in any of these projects? To be honest, Vigil Games’ games always pique my interest, so I’ll be following that closely.
