i think cloud power is the future, but its a distant future but obviously for some things localised power will always be needed for mission critical applications. As with all things, it needs to start somewhere im thinking cloud power will be more 20-30 years in the future where it can properly start to replace things, but who knows whatll happen. The main hurdle is the deployment of infrastructure to support high bandwidth low latency connection but with greedy ISP’s about and with archaic data caps like in the US/insane cost of a high to unlimited data cap thats the main thing holding this type of thing back

The next consoles should be able to do 4K gaming if they follow the same design decisions in the PS4 with a weak GPU should be possible in 8-10 years. Native 4K gaming (like Star Citizen) will only run best/max at a decent fps on 2x sli/xfire high end cards so doing the same for a wek GPU first needs a singe card powerful enough to do the same as 2 so id so 4-6 years for that, then its needs to advance so lower powered cards can output the same so i think 8-10 years

Don’t be a berk. The 1080p thing was emblematic of just how weak the Xbone is. By the way, KZ SP is still 1080p native. So there goes that. Both consoles won’t do 4K either, unless they port Tetris over.
