Top 10 Games to watchout for at E3!

Here is what we think are the Top 10 games to watchout for this E3!

(In no specific order)

Modern Warfare 2(PS3, XBOX 360, PC):

Modern Warfare 2 is a Modern First-Person Shooter game, developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, scheduled to be released in 2009. Its a sequel to multi-million selling and multi-award winning Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and promises to raise the bar even more this time around. Keep a close eye on this one.

Assassin’s Creed 2(PS3, XBOX 360, PC):

Assassin’s Creed 2 is a Historic Action Adventure game, developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft, scheduled to be released in 2009. First Assassin’s Creed created much hype but failed to live up in certain areas but this time around Ubisoft Montreal is hard at workmaking sure its sequel doesn’t have the flaws of its predecessor. Look out for this beauty at E3.

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves(PS3):

Nathan Drake returns for some more tomb raiding in the sequel to Naughty Dog and Sony’s 2007 archeological action-adventure hit. UC2 promises to have one of the best if not the best graphics on current console, but it doesn’t mean it wont offer the same quality of action and platforming as you expect from Naughty Dog. This one is high on our list.

Mass Effect 2(XBOX 360, PC):

Mass Effect 2 is an Action Role-Playing game, developed by BioWare and published by Electronic Arts, scheduled to be released in 2009. Firast Mass Effect was a huge success both commercially and critically and it took the interactivity level in games to new heights along with some amazing role-playing but its flaws cannot be forgotten. Bioware must know that and must be putting great energies in resolving them for the sequel. Its the game to watchout out for at E3.

Metal Gear Solid 5(PS3):

E3 wont be E3 without an announcement metal gear related. This is our wildest of the guesses but sure we’ll see the announcement this E3. And if MGS4 is anything to by than MGS5 surely will blow us away again. Here is keeping our fingers crossed and hoping for a tease into the world of mgs early this summer. (Please note footage below is from MGS4)

Forza Motorsport 3(XBOX 360):

Forza Motorsport 3 is a GT / Street Racing game, developed and published by Microsoft Game Studios, scheduled to be released in 2009. Forza has always been microsoft’s top gun. Its the one of best racing simultaor out there and surely promises to deliver on its reputation with the third offering in the long running franchise. Dont forget to check it out this june at LA. (Please note footage below is from Forza Motorsport 2)

Beyond Good and Evil 2(PS3, XBOX 360, PC):

Beyond Good & Evil 2 or BG&E2, is the sequel to the 2003 video game Beyond Good & Evil. It is being designed by Michel Ancel, the creator of the original game, and developed by him and his team at Ubisoft Montpellier. BG&E2 is being published by Ubisoft. Intended as the first part of a trilogy, the original Beyond Good & Evil won critical acclaim but failed to gain commercial success. The status of BG&E2 was unknown for several years until it was unveiled at Ubidays 2008 in the Louvre in Paris, France, on May 28, 2008. If the new trailer is anything to go by this will set E3 on fire.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction(XBOX 360):

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Conviction is the fifth installment in the Splinter Cell video game series. The game is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal. Splinter Cell: Conviction was originally scheduled for release on November 16, 2007, but has since been the subject of several delays. On April 29, 2009, Ubisoft listed Splinter Cell: Conviction for release in the 2009-10 fiscal year, and it was later confirmed that the game will be released by Holiday 2009. This time Splinter Cell is going on a totally new track moving away from conventional light and shadow gameplay. Splinter Cell is due to please its fan this E3.

Rage(PS3, XBOX 360, PC):

Rage is a first-person shooter and racing video game in development by id Software. It will use the company’s new id Tech 5 engine. The game was announced on August 2, 2007 at QuakeCon. Information available so far indicates that the game takes place in a post-apocalyptic world similar to that of movies such as Mad Max 2. Influences on the driving and racing gameplay include games such as MotorStorm and Burnout. Rage seems like an exceptional game from exceptional developers and it should be the one game you must watchout for at E3.

God of War 3(PS3):

God of War III is a forthcoming installment in the God of War series, currently in development for the PlayStation 3. The game was announced at E3 2008, while a final release date is to be announced at E3 2009 as confirmed by Sony in the March 2009 Game Informer Issue. It is the fifth chapter in the series chronologically, after God of War: Chains of Olympus, God of War, God of War: Betrayal and God of War II. God of War III is expected to feature gameplay similar to that of previous installments and thats never a bad thing. All the hype sorrounding this gem makes the stakes at all time high when kratos returns this summer. Stay glued to E3 to own every inch of GOW 3.
