Sceptile is where it’s at. For one, he is incredibly fast and strong, giving him a high advantage. Second off, His grass type moves are incredibly powerful, especially Leaf Blade. Third, he is the ONLY third gen starter that can learn a small selection of dragon type moves. Dragon. Giving him another advantage.
Despite having quite a bit of weaknesses consisting of fire, ice, bug, etc., his stats rise in mostly Speed and Attack, so if you have a weak pokemon, or a water type, they will probably be obliterated.
Just pointing out a few facts.
