All I know is that if you actually look at SMB3 with objective eyes you will see it lacks a few things that maybe a people didn’t quite realize back in the day but should now; like the ability to go back in and easily replay your favorite levels and maps without actually having to start the whole game again for example.

Objectively you’d have been better at least using the pretty much all-round improved All-Stars version of SMB3 if you were going to pick SMB3 but either way I’d probably still place both SMW and SMW2: Yoshi’s Island above that game personally, although to be fair it’s so close between all 3 of them for best side scrolling platformer ever that I’m not offended if any of them is picked, as long as one of them is.

Really disappointed Shadow Complex for the xbox 360 didn’t make the list…
