I was getting really nervous that Just Cause 2 wasn’t going to make this list. If by being last in a top 10, that means that this is the best vertical game world EVER… then I am in 100% agreement.

Yeah, I have a game you should try. Just Cause 2. Totally underrated beautifully detailed game, flying is a huge part of the game.

Actually Oblivion(Cyrodill reference) gives you an opportunity to move above the clouds in the quest Knights of the Nine(Umaril the Unfeathered). Granted it’s a boss fight and you teleport back after you’re done, but it’s high above ground. There are also several mountains to climb like the mountain with Wizard’s Tower on top.

With the ability to fly anywhere now, it certainly gives you some AMAZING views of the whole world.
