No I think Grab Turismo should remain the focal series I just think maybe it’s time they made some management changes at PolyPhony studios.

Drive club was a pretty poor game. I had played it near release but I actually bought it about 5 weeks ago for $7 on PSN. I started playing for a couple hours trying to learn the wonky physics enough to be able to play online.

Well once I decided to hop into multiplayer I couldn’t find a game. Over a couple weeks at various times of day I couldn’t find a single game online.
By comparison here I can still find games in forza 4 and horizon. That’s pretty sad that these very old games have an audience but drive club doesn’t. I even bought the bike expansion for $14 or whatever and couldn’t find a game there either. Not 1.

So focus on the GT series but start getting them on a 3 year release schedule. Look at the Microsoft model. They broke the series into 2 successful franchise’s which allows more time to work on each game, it allows 2 full teams to tweak an engine and learn hardware tricks which means they can improve visuals, physics etc. It also keeps the audience more engaged. They get a break from each series but there is always a new game coming thats different.

Do you think they should have focused on Driveclub instead? And maybe even release Driveclub 2 down the line? With more physics features and toggles as well as massive new content? I think that would be great ! ( i might appear biased, but ain’t that commonsense!)

Low budget? The budget for GT6 was 4x the budget for Forza 4.

Low budget…hah. Sony dumps tons of money into this once great series but unfortunately the glory days are over. The last good GT game was on ps3 and even that felt half assed
