Demon’s Souls is infinitively better than Oblivion for god’s sake. The gameplay mechanics are far more refined, it’s a hell lot more challenging, and has an innovative amazing online multiplayer.

Yes, Oblivion has a bigger world (but it’s fucking empty and repetitive), a “better story” (but I couldn’t care less, I like actually good stories, you know, like José Luis Borges, or Edgar Alan Poe, etc, so I find, basely, all games stories to be filler crap) and it’s longer. But the experience is fairly below that of demon’s soul, comparing the gameplay and the epicness of the bosses battles is also ridiculous.

Not that Oblivion is bad, is very good game, but Demon’s Soul is better in the most important aspects of a game.

well, from the time i’m posting this, Dragon Age Origins has been released and have already played it, and i’ll definetely say it’s top on my list.

V. chronicles is not a RPG! thats a simple strategy game nothing else. and cannot understand how FLAPklore (folklore) become a better RPG that L.O, funny list….

I agree for the most part on this list. Fallout 3 tho i disagree… ammo? There was more than enough ammo. It should be #3 on the list. Next year will be a good year for rpgs, got WKC north american version for ps3 and soon dragon age origins

Great list man. Oblivion was great and all the mods made it so much better. Out of the box though Demon’s Souls has to be my fav because it’s not all easy mode.

Dragon Age: Origins will take over the top spot when it’s released. The spiritual successor to the greatest western RPG of all time (Baldur’s Gate II) trumps everything else on this list.
