That’s very true…. ours is a horror list! I completely agree! Very true, if Doom had proper aspects of a Survival game then it would be fair…. it does not however!

Been ages since I’ve played Doom 3 so I am not too familiar! I was a bit skeptical about even placing Doom and Dead Island 2 on our Horror list because most people just argue they are not horrors!

In reply to Orioncy. The horror I can understand to a degree, but survival? No. The survival label requires that resources are scarce and resource management is a main gameplay aspect. In Doom however, the only survival is shoot them and don't get shot. If that made a survival game, that would make every shooter one. Doom 3 came pretty close to survival horror, but Doom 3 is nothing like the other Doom games.

“Seriously, if you haven’t played this game yet then do yourself a favor and pick this game up when it releases!” Am I the only one puzzled by this sentence? If it hasn’t been released yet, it is highly unlikely that we’ve played the game.

I get to page 2 and there’s Doom… Freakin’ DOOM! Freaking first-person-high-speed-classic-run-and-gun-shooter-action Doom!
