Very impressed with Attila Total War, as a fan since Rome 1, I'd have to say this is the best entry in the series so far, so many new elements and interesting things to contend with beyond the traditional. The AI is so much better now, and with the diminishing fertility of the land, you face some interesting choices, try to get enough food to stay in your lands, or migrate to more fertile lands. Add in migratory tribes, disease, the decline of Western Rome, and of course Attila, and this is not your traditional build your armies, go conquer, rinse and repeat.
