Though Sony and EA will not be at E3 this year, Ubisoft has become the second major publisher, after Bethesda, to confirm its E3 plans. Today, the company announced its annual E3 press conference will take place as intended and as usual, with the company announcing its show for June 10, at 1pm PT/4pm ET.
This means Ubisoft has the traditional Monday afternoon spot (while Bethesda has the Sunday spot); usually, Ubisoft has the last conference for the day until Sony’s, but that’s obviously not a consideration this year.
As for what the company might show, that’s anyone’s guess. Obviously there’s no new Assassin’s Creed coming, but we might get further look at Beyond Good and Evil 2, Skull and Bones, as well as the rumored Watch Dogs 3. We may also see a Ubisoft/Nintendo partnership for the third year straight, in the vein of Mario+Rabbids: Kingdom Battle in 2017, and Starlink: Battle for Atlas in 2018. All of which, to me, is exciting enough to want to tune in.
