3DTVs are simply HDTVs with 120hz or hight refresh rates.  It&#039;s not a huge technical leap at all.  So, in about three years, the so-called 3DTVs will have come down to the $700 range.

The same people have said that 1080p was a waste, and would never take off in this economic environment, but look at the state of the market now.  EVERYTHING is 1080p.

It&#039;s just how technology advances.
