and here is the thing, i never played the guitar before.
when i picked up rockband and played with it, i was like, hmm this guitar thing is interesting. so i sold my rockband kit and i’m planning on buying a real guitar and get guitar lessons from a pro.

a video game can never teach you how to play a guitar. it doesn’t matter what instruments they invent.

plus the fact that people are actually bored and sick of how much guitar hero and rockband were dropped in the last 3 years. if they want to try this idea again, they should have waited 2 years at least.

I think this game is gonna crash and burn. Didn’t someone just come out with a game just like this….I think it was called rise of the 6 string. But re-iterating what Tareq said, this is way to much for someone who cant play a guitar, and if you can, you wouldnt want to plaay along with a video game.

Agreeing with tareq here…it won’t succeed too well, it’ll be too complicated.
If you’re going to learn guitar, you’re going to pick a real one up with amps.

Yep, I’m one of those snobs that didn’t like guitar hero for the sole purpose that it drove real rockers away from the real rocking.
Maybe it’ll help my case to say look at the popular music out today…no guitars needed, just a turntable and rhymes…and an affinity for pimpin’ hoes.

i don’t know about this, i though guitar hero and rockband were made for those who couldn’t play the guitar but wanted to somehow experience it, and those who can actually play a real guitar, they don’t want to be associated with a video game console, this idea is either too late or too complicated to succeed.
