UK Charts: Call of Duty WW2 Ties For Most Top Spots in 2017

Activision's shooter hits most no. 1 UK spots in a row after Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

Despite entertainment software unit sales dropping by 24 percent following Black Friday, Call of Duty: WW2 is still the top selling video game in the UK. Chart-Track also noted that the game achieved the most number 1 spots in a row in 2017 (at 5 weeks), a record that was previously held by Activision’s own Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.

In second place is FIFA 18 whose sales dropped by 30 percent over last week while Gran Turismo Sport is in third place. Star Wars Battlefront 2 is in fourth place with sales dropping by 33 percent. Assassin’s Creed Origins is in fifth, Super Mario Odyssey moves up to sixth place, Forza Motorsport 7 is in seventh and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe re-enters the top 10 at eighth place.

Grand Theft Auto 5 is in ninth place while Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy reappears at 16th place. The newest title of the week is Xenoblade Chronicles 2 at 19th place which is 9 places higher than its predecessor Xenoblade Chronicles X.
