Vicarious Visions’ Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy continues to rule the top of UK sales charts as per Gfk Chart-Track. The sales monitor noted that it had spent “the most weeks at No.1 for a PS4-exclusive title and the most weeks at No.1 for any title so far this year.”
Grand Theft Auto 5 rose up to second place while promotions saw three Bethesda titles enter the top 5. These are Fallout 4, DOOM and Dishonored 2 in third, fourth and fifth respectively. Splatoon 2 finally fell from second place to sixth after debuting in that position.
Battlefield 1 is in seventh place followed by Miitopia on the 3DS, FIFA 17 and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege (which passed 20 million registered players and has 2.3 million daily active players as per Ubisoft).
As for Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, publisher Activision has reported its happiness with the remaster, stating that it surpassed its expectations “by a pretty wide margin”. Similar efforts could pop up down the line thanks to Crash’s efforts. Sales charts this week should be especially interesting with Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice and LawBreakers releasing for PC and PS4 on August 8th.
