Bioware’s Mass Effect: Andromeda saw a strong start in the UK’s physical game charts last week, according to Gfk Chart-Track. It managed to end the reign that Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands had in first with 51 percent of sales on PS4 and 41 percent on consoles. However, sales overall haven’t exceeded that of Mass Effect 2 and 3.
With Ghost Recon: Wildlands in second place, Lego Worlds has fallen down to third, Horizon: Zero Dawn is in fourth and Grand Theft Auto 5 is in fifth place. It’s one big shifting of the usual players by a place or two.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is still in sixth place though. FIFA 17, Rocket League, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Forza Horizon 3 make up the rest of the top 10 for the week.
It will be interesting to see how Andromeda fares in the coming weeks, especially with other big games like Persona 5 incoming. Stay tuned for more updates.
