It’s the week before Christmas but Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is currently ruling the sales charts in the UK. According to Gfk Chart-Track, the first person shooter saw a 33 percent increase in sales.
Star Wars Battlefront managed to come in second place followed by FIFA 16, Fallout 4 and Minecraft: Story Mode. Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate, Just Cause 3, Grand Theft Auto 5, Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege and Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection round out the rest of the charts.
Considering the lack of any major releases until next month, it’s safe to assume that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will stay on top – this is despite issues that have arisen recently with the game’s hotfix supposedly messing up matchmaking. You can read more about the same here but thankfully Treyarch is listening to feedback and fixing things.
