Codemasters’ F1 2015 has burst on to the scene in the United Kingdom, debuting as the top selling game across all platforms according to the latest Gfk Chart-Track sales charts. Sales were up by 367 percent compared to the year before and helped the racing simulator dethrone the previously reigning number one, Batman: Arkham Knight.
The open world action adventure title, which sees its first DLC pack Batgirl: A Matter of Family releasing tomorrow, dropped to second place followed by LEGO Jurassic World. The Elder Scrolls Online meanwhile dropped to fourth place with Grand Theft Auto 5 in fifth. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is still in the top ten despite approaching its second month at retail while Minecraft: Xbox Edition and PlayStation Edition are in seventh and eighth respectively.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is in ninth place followed by Destiny in tenth. There were no other new releases lately which could explain usual players still hanging around. Stay tuned for more information on UK sales in the coming weeks.
