Ubisoft’s Far Cry Primal was the number one selling title for the past week in the UK across all platforms, according to Gfk Chart-Track. The title saw fairly decent critical praise since its release, mostly due to its unique approach and large open world.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 also arrived last week and despite the overwhelming OP-ness that is Rose, it managed to hit second place. This was followed by another EA title FIFA 16, Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 and Grand Theft Auto 5. LEGO Marvel Avengers is in sixth place followed by Star Wars Battlefront, Fallout 4 and Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege.
Street Fighter 5 hasn’t had a very good week. Despite debuting at second place the week prior, Capcom’s flagship fighting game dropped to tenth place and is nearly on its way out. This is following criticism of the lack of content like Challenge Mode and Arcade Mode along with numerous server and matchmaking issues since launch.
