It’s been a busy week for game releases. Monolith Productions’ Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor and Playground Games’ Forza Horizon 2 both released but in the UK at least, it was EA Sports’ FIFA 15 that remained on top according to the latest UKIE game charts (courtesy of Gfk Chart-Track).
Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor debuted in second place while Forza Horizon 2 for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 arrived in third place. Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 3DS debuted in fourth place while Bungie’s Destiny fell from second place to fifth this week following a 30 percent drop in sales. The remainder of the top ten consists of Minecraft: PlayStation Editions, Disney Infinity 2.0, Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition, Call of Duty: Ghosts and The Sims 4.
This week sees the release of Alien: Isolation while The Evil Within and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel is out next week. Can any of these possibly top FIFA 15? We’ll find out in the coming weeks so stay tuned for more information.
