UK retailer GAME says Nintendo’s next handheld, the 3DS, will release in Europe sometime next year. While speaking to an investor, they also confirmed that they back the rumours that the 3DS will be out in the Atlantic Spring next year.
“Sony has recently launched new models of the PS3 Slim and Nintendo is expected to release the handheld 3DS in Europe next year. Initial reviews of this technology have been very positive,” one on behalf of the retailers said. They also confirmed 40% declines of DS and Wii hardware year-to-year sales in GAME stores and Gamestation stores, so Nintendo must be keen to get their newest system out quick.
Sounds interesting. 2010 a bit too late, though?
