DICE 2014, which will take place in Los Angeles in early February 2014, will have both Ed Harris, the former founder of Xbox, and Unity co-founder David Helgason, as key speakers for the event, the event’s organizers have revealed. In addition to this, DICE will also have talks by DeNA West chief executive Clive Downie and Major League Gaming co-founder Sundance DiGiovanni.
“While usually bestowed posthumously on a period of great prosperity and creativity, we have the experience and foresight to realise we are witnessing a new Golden Age,” said Martin Rae, president of organising body, the The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences.
“For the 2014 D.I.C.E. Summit we’ll examine what this means to the many great minds who grace our stage, looking back at trails blazed and forward to amazing possibilities and potential pitfalls around the bend.
“I’m very much looking forward to see how our roster of speakers envisions this next evolution for our industry.”
