yes there are GPUs that can do 4K max settings 60fps actually like the titan X and 1080 can sometimes to. 1080ti will as well when its released in january but not on all games though. mainly games that are designed to run at 60fps like BF1 will do 4K no problem. Games that are designed to run at 30fps have a much harder time doing 60fps though as its literally double the power to run it.

You defination of a good image will be squadron 42 and star citizen when there released!

Ubisoft got flack for removing graphics detail to run on lower systems. I hope they have settings that will push the PC to the max.

As for doing 4K with a Nvidia 1080 card...well that would indicate upscaling of a 1080p image or inferior graphics. There is currently no cards that can do a solidy 60fps image at 4K unless the graphics are poorly detailed or its actually upscaled 1080p.
My definition of a 'good' image is something like Uncharted 4 with 3x the current level of detail, 5x the viewable distance with zero static backgrounds(no mountain or cloud pictures). When they do that at 1080p, then I won't care if they upscale it as it will still look good.

uggh its watchdogs 2 not BF1 got the games mixed up hahah but recommended is usually 1080p, high 30 but specs seems overpowered for those settings. could be high 60fps or ultra 30

what are you on about? recommended is for 1080p 60fps high settings. doing 4K in BF1 wont be difficult. a 1080 might be able to pull it off on high settings

Remember that just because they recommend it, doesn't mean you can turn on all the features and still run at 60fps in 4k. lol.
I've seen the best of the best systems with much lower 'recommended' specs that couldn't even crack the high end of the settings in a ton of games for years.
