The game will be a large Gotham City as big as Liberty City in Grand Theft Auto IV, along with the ability to play as Batman, Robin and Nightwing simultaneously. The story would be that Nightwing and Robin took care of Gotham while Batman was on a secret undercover mission for 2 months. During the final month, Batman has lost communication and Nightwing presumed him dead.

However, gameplay opens with Bruce being tied up and beaten by Kobra terrorists as he was found out infiltrating their ranks. However, his execution is interrupted when the League of Assassins attacks. Talia has come to save Bruce, and you play out a few battles until Kobra is taken down. Talia then mentions she needs Bruce after what has happened to Gotham, the home of her precious Lazarus Pitt…

It’s revealed Gotham has been declared a NO MAN’S LAND after the 7.6 magnitude earthquake. All bridges have been closed off in and out of Gotham. That’s right, the game i set on the massive No Man’s Land story arcs with the Bats, with Batman and Gordon trying to reclaim territory piece by piece. Plots will be changed to fit with the Arkhamverse as well as add some interesting layers like trying to regain the Lazarus Pitt which will now be used by the wrong hands.

And of course, Lex Luthor will get involved at the end just as he did in the comics. Nice tie-in for Man of Steel 2, although it will be “classic” Lex instead of the scrawny and neurotic one from the movie.

Use of the batmobile would be a very appealing concept. I was a little bewildered as to why batman’s gadgets in origins were more advanced than they were in asylum, if I’m not mistake was it not meant to be a prequel?

Keep the gameplay the same, the combat is excellent etc. just introduce something new and interesting like missions that include vehicles, he has all these exciting vehicles such as the batmobile and the batwing just to name a couple. Why not make the most of these? I’m not expecting them to be at my disposal all the time but why on earth is he gliding around the whole of Arkham city when he could be driving to and from missions like he would in the movies or in the comics.

I’m not a hard core gamer but I’m a massive fan of the DC comics and I love how true the game has stayed to the comics, sorry this has not been proof read however I’m not looking for it to be in times magazine so oh well.

Did anybody proof read this? It feels like you’re an honors high school student trying to use excessively creative, baroque (gleeful???) language that muddles up what you’re trying to say. I actually love your perspective and commentary. Just wish it was written cleaner.

Maybe in the next Arkham they’ll start appealing to the other Bat Family fans and let you play as the Robins or the femme fatales of Gotham. Bruce is cool and all but after awhile he is a predictable and stale character to use. Maybe it’s time to focus on his legacies in the Robins, who each, aside from Damien, Carrie and Stephanie, affect the DC universe in major ways, more importantly Gotham.

Also have a villain not used before & use the villain actually in the game not just in the previews like with Black Mask. Don”t use the Joker as the main antagonist in the next Arkham game for once.
