Add to this that the days of the Xbox being the lead platform in development are long gone now they have tapped the power of PS3’s Cell tech. Assassin’s Creed Revelations looks so much better on PS3 it isn’t even funny. I admit, the underpowered PC in a box has had a good run and many multiplatform games looked far better on it, but only thanks to lazy dev teams who couldn’t code on PS3 as well as they might. Now everyone and his dog can make games that look Uncharted 2 quality at least with PS3, no one wants to lead dev on the dead box.

Uncharted 3 has the most realistic animations of all console games. check it out, even the most subtle details like drake grasping the side of the wall as he runs down a narrow street and when he runs into a wall, he pushes on it to keep from slamming into it while Quears 3 has the character stop and do nothing

@ True Gamer: Crysis 2 is not the best looking game on either console. It is in screenshots, but if you’ve ever actually played it you’d know otherwise. Yeah, it looks good, but with the framerate drops and terrible performance issues on either console, you can’t say it’s the best looking game on console, since it looks like shit when you actually play the game.
Gears still doesn’t “look” better. The lack of a color palette is a big part of that. Sure, if you enjoy a bleaker world with textures compressed “just” enough so that they look good at 720p. All non-human models have much lower polys to increase performance. This all has to do with the hardware limitations and lack of space on DVDs. Bluray actually has the ability to store bigger protocols, multiple variations of textures and maps, and higher processing abilities in space partnering with CPU. Lets not forget the higher quality physics and activities UC3 will have because of the PS3’s CPU. But the texture quality, realistic anatomy and physics in Uncharted makes it a no-brainer.

Don’t be butthurt–if you wanted the better graphics, you should have bought a PS3, a PC, or all three. It may not be that visible now, but look at the two when they’re actually released and show me a comparison, because we know who the winner will be.
