Wii Mini is exclusive to Canada, priced at $99

Exclusive... huh?

What? Exclusive to Canada? Makes no sense right? Well that’s Nintendo for you. The Wii Mini has a kickass design as you can see in the image above and the reason for its creation, other than the awesome design makes no sense. I mean why is it exclusive to Canada?

The console was leaked via a retail memo and it seems Nintendo is trying to make it attractive for consumers as a last push, but I don’t understand why they made it exclusive in one region.

It will be releasing on December 7th for Canada and is priced at $99. Not bad when you take a look at the design, it’s something you wouldn’t expect Nintendo to make. The console will also be compatible with 1400 Wii games and we have bunch of new info on the system.

“There are games in the Wii library for every type of player. Wii Mini is a great gift for the holidays that brings everyone in the family together to play. Wii Mini has a mini price, but it’s all about big fun,” Ron Bertram, Nintendo of Canada’s vice president and general manager revealed.

It offers “Great value for first-time Wii owners who just want to jump in and experience all the great Wii games that helped usher in a revolution in motion-controlled gaming.”
