Nintendo's real failure with the Wii U is in not having a killer app platformer title ready at launch. You would think by now they know that software sells hardware. They really blew it by not having a Smash Bros, 3-d Mario game, Metroid, Mario Kart, or Zelda title ready at launch. Honestly, somebody at Nintendo should be fired for missing what may have been the Wii U's best window of opportunity. Sorry, a side-scrolling NES-like Mario game doesn't cut it.
