Of course to some it will be. I can only speak for myself and my friends who I know play Fifa. None of us have ever touched Ultimate Team on the PS3. Might just be us though, but I never knew it was such a big deal.
I’d like to think the features that ARE in the WiiU version (exclusive features like the Manager/Co-Op mode and other Gamepad related functions) outweigh this ommision, or at leats balance it out.

That’s good to know lumpy. But the omission of Ultimate Team is still huge. The game looks good on the Wii U though.

Not to mention the improved graphics which EA has confirmed. And Ultimate team isnt exactly “critical” now is it? Why the negative angle all the time? You could just as easily run the headline “PS3 & 360 missing ‘critical’ items” couldn’t you? The more time passes the more I’m convinced that gaming journalism is to blame for the decline of the industry. Narrow minded or hyperbolic articles by “journalists” who seem to think they work for the The Sun, influenceing susceptible customers with nonesense headlines. It’s just damaging, and embarassing in equal measure.

Edit: on second glance, I didnt mean to infer that the author of this article is narrow minded. I’ve never met the guy/gal so how would I know 🙂 My point still stands though.
