agreed the system requirements for this MMO pretty much lends itself to a console version because of the 30gig requirement as far as I can tell why not use a system that is dedicated to gaming vs a computer to get interest into this series they should consider a tv show or movies that can introduce themselves to the general masses…I’ve seen the commercials which has given interest fleshing it out with likeable characters as seen in the commercials really could mainstream them beyond just an MMO into public attention Halloween costumes shampoo bottles and really entrench them into peoples attention with the right backing it could become household names up there with the blue animal and the plumber…besides they need to be mainstream to entrench staying power

I’d love to play this on my PS4 since my laptop from 2011 plays this game with a molasses smooth seven frames per second……..woo

and the controls tho are fluid, i actually like playing on KB&M, i wish GW2 movement was that well compared

Wildstar was interesting just like Firefall but ive ben playing MMO for like 10+ yeara so to me its boring. vbut none o these i i stoppe afvter eve online.. haha none of this stuff. Go F2P, microtranaction youll probabaly have a decent console life… never a PC lif agahin becuase your stuff and yiou know your arew… sorry bit of deig. so do one.. sssh sorry

WS had a pretty good chance of eating into WoW subs. I was there during the launch and the queues were enormous. Literally you had to wait hours for your turn and Carbine had to create a lot of new servers.

That said, the devs thought they were the s**t and made some of the dumbest decisions imaginable and refused to fix them until almost everyone dropped the game…hell…some of those decisions are still there.

I really do think it would be pretty successful on consoles though. The combat system seems to fit consoles more than pc controls.

As you said, 10 buttons is a pathetic amount for a pc mmo. I myself was pretty annoyed at the lack of amount of abilities available at one time…..but for consoles, its perfect.

In reply to lagann. A main reason why these MMOs go free to play is because of world of Warcraft and because the pc is saturated with them so its hard to stand out. I don't think it will be that successful to be honest and 10 buttons haha pathetic amount

Wildstar would be a success on consoles when it was a failure on pc. The combat system lends itself to controllers much better than m+k no matter what the pc elitists say.

You got 10 skills at any one time. Current gen consoles have 10 buttons including analog buttons plus another 4 including the directional buttons.

If they get rid of the “everyone needs to cc the boss or die” mechanic in dungeons…i would definately pick it up on consoles. WS is a fun game as long as the devs fix the easily fixable problems it has.
