Most likely not.
But you can expect great graphics at native 1080p 30fps on PS4.
Like the article states, new SDKs are coming out sooner rather than later and SE is pretty good with tech. I just need that 1080p.
They were able to run FF14 ARR pretty well on the PS4 (1080p as well) and it’s an online game. A single player game like FF15 will run awesomely at 1080p 30fps on PS4.

This game shouldn’t even release on the Xbox One. Why can’t they just stick to one platform? What happened to exclusive dedication? Makes me ill.

The Final Fantasy series is made by Square-Enix, a third-party developer. Before the playstation they released the majority of their RPGs on super nintendo, then just with sony for a while, then on multiple consoles.

As far as how they’ll perform, one should keep in mind both the PS4 and XBone are more or less evenly matched spec wise (moreso than 360 vs PS3), and as time goes on developers will learn to take better advantage of those specs. There’s a good chance FFXV will perform about the same on either console.

Maybe they can do almost-1080p like battlefield 4 did for ps4 and keep the 60 fps. I think bf4 pulled it off nicely because the game looks great on a nice big 1080p television especially with the 60fps. I think frames add more to the gameplay than a higher resolution, because i mean when I’m PC gaming and a game doesn’t run like i want the resolution is the first to go. Frames first!

1080p 60 is too tall an order for a game that’s been in development so long. Squeenix devs aren’t know for their tech prowess.

They’ll probably half a** the Xbox port and run it at 720p while PS4 runs at 1080p.
