They could remaster it even if they did nothing but make the game playable for PS4 and Xbox One without updating graphics they could sell alot of copies and turn a nice profit with little cost. I know I’d buy it day one.

Bethesda is NOT announcing a Skrim 2 or a Skyrim for Xbox1/PS4. They are introducing mods and a new DLC pack for FO4. Bethesda has screwed the ESO community in the rear so far over this. A new Skyrim, if at all, would be discussed in late 2017 or 2018.

They could do something like dark souls 2: scholar of the first sin.

And they don’t need a new engine, they need an updated engine, e.g. update skyrim’s engine to the same level as fallout 4 (or better) and while sure it will probably require a few reworks here and there, it’s definitely not as much work as a new engine or new game.

Wow this article is even dumber than the one about RDR2 at E3! How that’s possible, I’ll never know, but u pulled it off.

First: a ‘remastered’ Skyrim already exists: it’s called the PC version!!!! There’s next to NOTHING more they can do for that game that wouldn’t require a whole new engine/investment and therefore be a NEW FRIGGEN GAME!! Plus u add all the workshop content and at the very least it makes a ps4/one version REDUNDANT AND NOT WORTH THE INVESTMENT!!

Second: if they really REALLY need Skyrim on Xbox one, they can just make it BC – and offer it to *shudder* stream on Sony’s attempt at ripping off their customers and calling it “backwards compatibility” – f//k right off with that sh!t, Sony.

Third: that just is NOT Bethesda’s style. They will announce ES6 when its ready to be announced and not a moment sooner – and that WILL NOT be during F4’s DLC cycle…. They’ve never announced (repeat: NEVER) a new major bethesda-developed ES or Fallout while the other is still being supported with DLC and patches.. It just won’t ever happen.

The writer of this article is just trolling for clicks. This is the kind of crap that CHILDREN think up to try to fool other children. It’s way worse than the “my uncle works at Nintendo” cliche.

Seriously, take this sh/t down. It’s just embarrassing.
