Many reasons could be behind the pc version crashing. Arkham knight for me crashes every 5 mins on windows 10 yet others have said it runs fine in windows 10. Computers hey lol
When everything runs great PC’s are awesome but occasionally you do feel like throwing your GTX900 series gpu out the window for all the good it does in some games.
In saying that Witcher 3 runs great in windows 10.

Well, as far as how upgradable it will be will depend on the model. However, console users are the target market of the steam boxes. At the price though, I think you get more value for dollar from a console than a steam box, and I think that a regular gaming pc is the best value for dollar.

So all in all it would be wiser to get a pc rig right? These steam machines have limitations? Just asking because I’m not yet well versed in this area. When I was reading about these steam machines, they made it sound like ” hey console gamer, here’s a PC in your type of box”! And they said it was upgradable but if it was only upgradable to a point that would suck!

Well, there are many choices on steam machine and they are not all created equal. Also most pc games are designed to run on windows, some can and do run on steam os, but the library is smaller by far. I think some steam boxes also boot windows.

There is a small form factor for pc called mini itx. it can keep the size of the machine in line with consoles pretty much,but is obviously less expandable in the long term.

The steam pc client has a feature called “big picture mode” it brings up an interface that allows you to Nvigate your library, store, settings,friends list etc with a controller.
