Yes, but I’m glad Microsoft is making something really powerful, Sony will just have to follow. Also, with twice the sales, Sony became much less generous than last Gen, with the ps+, we had hundreds of free full games, most, Aaa titles like mass effect. Because currently they are number 1, they don’t feel the need to make many efforts, like releasing a good firmware with feature gamers actually want.

With Nintendo and the Scorpio, the market may change. Sony will again have to ‘buy our trust, before getting our money.

And new consoles mean more different exclusives .because in 3 years, we only got like 10 original titles, the others were simple remasters. They will have to create new franchises, new titles, to make gamers buy their console or not

Ok ill have this unofficial bet with.you.. you know cloud imperium games and the single player Squadron 42? that is a game designed to be run at 4K with 4K assets and SC is to. this isnt no console downgrade game. Its about a 20 hour single player that is semi open in terms of how it will let you complete the mission, unlike MGS5 but tighter controls cus your in space.

I will bet you £5 that SQ42 will not exceed 100GB with 4K assets… now SQ42 and SC will more than likely exceed that but for the first release of SQ42 it does not exceed 100GB.. deal or no deal?!

There are several console games this gen that are near the 50gb blu ray capacity. Stop your nonsense. For example, Cod Advanced Gold Edition was 45 gb. Battlefield Hardline was 43 gb. Batman Arkham Knight was 46 gb. That list goes on and on, but my point has been made. The 4k file sizes for games like these will be significantly larger. Wake up.

Ok so so you think say a game that is about 30GB normally is going jump to 100GB with 4K textures? Nope.

The only game I could see getting close to that is GTA seeing as it was 65GB. There’s not many games that big.

What’s that got do with anything?? Plug your NAS into a router, as long as console has dlna which xbox does you can access it. Fact is nobody is going to be downloading 100GB 4k films on a damn console. It’s got a disc drive use it and if you do well internal 2.5inch that I’ve seen only go upto 2TB so you’ll have to have plenty of external drive handy

Lmao lol rofl, yeah 100GB 4k uncompressed like if you ripped it off the disc, compress it with HEVC get rid of the audio streams you don’t need and will be like 5GB. Even a 5TB drive wouldn’t be enough. Anybody who does that will have 20TB NAS at least attached to there network or pc or whatever. I download bluray rips using HEVC and there like 700MB.

4K assets in a game don’t take up that much space. Farcry primal on pc has a download for 4k assets and the combined size comes no where near 100GB
