The reason is because Xbox One and also Xbox 360 increases the contrast and sharpness when the hardware outputs any images. MS did the same thing. I think the same thing would happen to Watch Dogs. PS4 would have higher res like UBI says, but because of how Xbox modifies the image, lots of users would be tricked to believing the Xbox One version is superior. But its actually just the increased contrast rate. You can do the same thing on the TV and get the same results on the PS4 or the PC version.

And the DF analysis is out. The color difference: gaming bolt amateurism. Probably they had their Xbox’s output set to “RGB full” and were crushing the blacks. The blurry gun texture is also not replicated — just texture pop-in which this game has on both platforms.

Sorry MS fans, you’ll have to keep waiting for a game that looks better on the XB1. Wolfenstein is apparently the definition of parity.
