Nobody cares about the crushed black contrast bug on Xbox One, you can do that on any display by increasing the contrast levels.

PS4 Watch Dogs is superior to Xbox One. 900-792p and ambient occlusion.

PS4 Wolfenstein is superior to Xbox One. Higher average resolution and better effects.

Digital Foundry proves that PS4 multiplat games consistently run at higher res and/or framerate.

Some use cherry picked screenshots from where a streamed texture was 0.01 seconds from fully loading and try to use it as false proof PS4 has worse textures. This is wrong and deceptive. Hard drive speed is the main issue in texture streaming load times. Installing a SSD in PS4 decreases texture streaming times dramatically.

And don't even start with the delusional "sharp popping textures" from the hideous upscaling sharpness filter that they ended up removing. The crushed blacks bug is still there, which is easy to replicate on PS4 or PC by turning up your display contrast settings.

Xbox One AAA multiplats (Watch Dogs, Witcher 3, CoD: Advanced Warfare) will run 720-900p for the lifetime of the system.

PS4 could run Ryse, Forza, Dead Rising 3, or any Xbox exclusive at higher res/framerate/effects, as it has more powerful hardware.

Yawn.

Just because the video outputs default to a more pleasing gamma/contrast/brightness settings, it doesn't make it graphically superior. The Xone I believe also employs a sharpening technique I believe?

You'll find that in fact they are identical on both consoles.

Something which varies per review and capture equipment... X1 per default uses full range RGB, whereas the PS4 you can switch from limited to full.. i wont be surprised the reviewers who always complain about the colors have this switched to limited..

Besides.. you can edit your screen settings, so the colors are the same if you are for some reason limited to.. well.. limited RGB (old screens)

Most of the review comparison all say the PS4 suffers from more washed out textures. This is a common thing with most POS4 games.
