Why should we need a dedicated platform just for gaming when an all-in-one solution is viable? I kind of already answered my question at the beginning, but I sincerely hope that the level of standardization won’t be as painful and restrictive like before. We’ve seen how beautiful games can be (Crysis/Battlefield/IL-2 Sturmovik), it would be sad to see those gems to wither under restrictions.

they will most likely push marketplace game downloads.. hopfully they have realistic price ranges though.

nextbox could very well have a strong launch line up. Maybe the reason the exclusives have been lame on 360 the last year or so has been MS secretly working on the launch lineup of the 720. i would bet it will also be cross platform.

PS4 all we know for sure is they will not be using the terrible PS3 CELL architecture.
